A former Sa-Fa student visited us last Tuesday and openly shared his own personal experience about studying and living in the USA with some students from Ciclo Básico and others from 4th grade.
He was born in Uruguay but he has been living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the past three years.
He talked about his studies, his job, his expectations and plans for the future.
Students had the oportunity to ask him about what he does for a living, how he met new people there and many other issues -incluiding habits, fraternities and sororities, language barriers, scholarships, etc. - having a dynamic and lively conversation using the target language to broaden their horizons and get general cultural knowledge.
